We fell in love with the charming Posada Lunajuim in El Chalten, where we spent three nights. Opened in 2001, it's family run by Marina, Carlos, Juan, and BiBi.
We enjoyed the modern art and their three cats (Poper, Leocadia, and Lady) - particularly the night that Leocadia paid us a vist. I woke in the middle of the night to meowing.
Thinking that one of the cats was trapped in the corridor, I opened our door and was surprised to find her right outside our room. I let her in and she jumped into bed with my friend and purred the whole night! Since both of us have cats at home, we got a big kick out of this.
