We visited Olympic National Park on a tour with Country Walkers.  On our way from Seattle, we stopped to look at the mysterious Mima Mounds (the theories range from giant gophers to glaciers) and visited the World's Largest Sitka Spruce (about 750 years old and 191 feet tall).

We stayed at the lovely Lake Quinault Lodge.

We hiked 3.5 miles (7 roundtrip) on the North Fork Quinault River Trail and had lunch by the river.
