Stop by the Alfons Mucha Museum in New Town for an overview of his work, and don't miss the excellent video chronicling his life and work. The gift shop is a treasure trove of all things Mucha!
We weren't familiar with the Czech artist Rastislav Michal, but stumbled accross his
gallery (Husova 13, Praha 1, [email protected]) and were very impressed with his paintings.
The gift shop at the Convent of St Agnes of Bohemia (Museum) has wonderful Prague books and calendars not found elsewhere.
The shop of Israeli artisian Michal Negrin reminded us of the inside of a Valentine and is a great place to buy fabulous costume jewelry and more.
We found beautiful Czech ceramic plates at the Hand Made Shop (Husova 8, Praha 1) - it also carries glass and dolls.
